What the Stapll Fender Rack Lineup Offers

The Stapll fender rack turns the empty strip beside your truck bed into storage, and it installs without drilling a single hole. Racks cost $199.99 to $599.99 across three panel sizes.

Specifically, a patented bracket clamps to your bed rail or slides into a factory accessory track. A MOLLE panel then hangs below the rail, within reach and clear of the cargo area. Stapll lists the design under US patent 12,319,239 B2.

We named the 48×10 version our Best in Class Storage Accessory for 2025.

Amazon also lists the STAPLL 56L Fender Case Kit with 6x7in Racks, a lockable case on two 6×7 brackets, and Stapll is the seller.

Fender Rack Sizes, Prices and Load Ratings

The range comes in three panel sizes, from the small 6×7 to the 48×10, the largest panel.

Model Price Load rating Stapll says it carries
6×7 rack $199.99 50 lb Fuel, water or hard cases
6×13 rack $249.99 50 lb RotopaX fuel and water, recovery boards, hard cases
48×10 rack $599.99 84 lb RotopaX fuel, MAXTRAX and Tred boards, shovels, jacks
56L Fender Case Kit $649.99 84 lb Lockable IP65 case, 52.83 x 15.75 x 5.67 in

Each 6×7 and 6×13 rack carries 50 pounds, per Stapll. Therefore, a pair of 6×13 racks, one per side, holds 100 pounds across the truck. The 48×10 carries 84 pounds by itself and ships with two brackets.

Weight adds up fast. For example, two gallons of water alone weigh about 16.7 pounds, a third of a 6×13 rating before you count the pack. Keep heavy items low and close to the bed, and treat every rating as Stapll’s number.

The 56L Fender Case Kit pairs two 6×7 racks with a lockable hard case. Stapll lists the kit at $649.99 and rates it for 84 pounds. Before you order, our guide to sizing, sealing and mounting hard cases shows how to check inside dimensions against your gear.

How a Fender Rack Mounts Without Drilling

Every rack ships with two hardware sets, so you do not choose one at checkout. Clamp hardware grips standard bed rails with an under-lip, including most Ford, Ram, Chevy and GMC trucks. Track hardware slides into factory accessory tracks on the Toyota Tacoma, Tundra and track-equipped Jeep Gladiator.

The track must sit within 2.3 inches of the top of the bed rail. Also, the bracket stacks only 0.55 inch above the rail and reaches 1.75 inches into the bed in its first position. The reach adjusts out to 3 5/8 inches, and you mount each panel vertically or tilted 20 degrees.

A magnetic rubber spacer and paint protection film sit between the bracket and the fender. Stapll says both peel away with no residue. In addition, Stapll says most no-drill installs finish in under an hour, and its fitment guide lists compatible trucks.

Caps, Campers and Tonneau Covers: Check Fit First

Stapll says the right add-on depends on how your cover meets the bed rail. Here is its guidance, trimmed to the common setups.

  • Open bed or truck camper: nothing extra is needed, but measure the gap between the camper wall and the rail first.
  • Cap, topper or a tonneau resting on the rail: you need the $174.99 Capper Lift & Seal Kit, which raises the cover slightly and seals the gap.
  • Tonneau with an exterior T-slot track: Stapll sells a T-Slot Hardware Kit, so you skip the lift kit.
  • Cap with a lip wrapping the outside of the rail: the lip needs notches at both mounting points, and Stapll names A.R.E., Leer, SnugTop and Ventura as common examples.
  • Tonneau rails inside the bed with no T-slot: Stapll says to contact it first, since those rails sit where the brackets mount.

Clive Winters spent two weeks with a cap on a 2025 Chevy Colorado ZR2 for our OPENROAD truck cap review. A cap rests on the bed rail, so price the lift kit item first. Our truck bed seal guide also explains why the rail lets dust in.

What This Means for You

Start with what you carry. Stapll lists the 6×13 for fuel, water and boards, and the 6×7 for a single pack or case. The 48×10 takes heavier loads, up to 84 pounds. Our guide to truck bed storage without losing daily-driver practicality helps you size the load first.

Cost is the next filter. Two 6×7 racks cost $399.98, and two 6×13 racks cost $499.98. A cap adds the $174.99 lift kit, so the 6×7 pair reaches $574.97. Campers skip the kit, because the camper sits in the bed. The 48×10 alone costs $599.99.

On October 25, 2026, Stapll’s collection page showed the stand-alone 48 x 10 inch MOLLE panel and the small hard case as sold out.

Stapll sells a 6×13 Essential RotopaX Mounting Kit and a 6×13 Essential Maxtrax Mounting Kit. The three items below match those kits, so weigh them against the 50 pound rating.

Final Thoughts

If your truck bed storage is already full, the Stapll fender rack moves the gear you reach for most outside the bed. Fuel, boards and a shovel hang outside, and your cargo area stays open.

I like this idea best for truck campers and cap owners, because those rigs use up the bed first. My advice is to start small. A single 6×7 or 6×13 rack shows you quickly whether you use the space, and you add the second side later.

Price and fit are the two things to settle before you click buy. Check your cover setup on the Stapll fender rack collection, and keep every load under the rating. Stapll advertises a money-back fit guarantee, so ask first if your setup is unusual.

Fender Rack FAQ

Does a Stapll fender rack require drilling?

No. Each rack uses clamp hardware on the bed rail or track hardware in a factory accessory track, and both kits ship in the box. Stapll sells it as a no-drill mount.

How much weight does a fender rack hold?

The 6×7 and 6×13 carry 50 pounds each and the 48×10 carries 84 pounds, per Stapll. Two 6×13 racks, one per side, add up to 100 pounds across the truck.

Will a fender rack fit under a truck cap?

Stapll says a cap always rests on the bed rail, so it calls for the $174.99 Capper Lift & Seal Kit. However, a cap with a lip wrapping the outside of the rail also needs notches at the mounting points.

Which Stapll fender rack should you buy first?

The 6×13 suits a first build, because Stapll lists it for RotopaX fuel and water, recovery boards and hard cases. Choose the 6×7 for a single fuel or water pack, or buy two for a hard case. The 48×10 suits heavier loads.
