What Is the Bronco ORV Package?
Own a Base, Big Bend or Outer Banks Bronco and want Raptor skid plates? Ford Custom Garage announced the Bronco ORV Package on October 21, 2026. The kit fits select 2025 and 2026 four-door Broncos. It is an accessory package sold through Ford dealers, not a separate Bronco model.
The package bundles Ford Accessories and Ford Racing Parts into one order. It covers suspension, underbody protection, lighting, wheels, styling and red rear tow hooks. As a result, you skip sourcing each piece from a different brand.
Ford lists an MSRP of $18,995 for the whole package. Because tires cost extra, your real total runs higher. Below, we break down what you get, who qualifies and what Ford has not said yet.
Red rear tow hooks only matter once you get stuck, and the package adds no other recovery gear. Traction boards, a kinetic rope and soft shackles get you moving again. For example, the grid below lists MAXTRAX MKII recovery boards, a Rhino USA kinetic rope and Rhino USA soft shackles.

Notably, Ford adds one fitment note. Compatibility depends on the Bronco’s trim, camera and Lux configuration, and Sasquatch Package status. Therefore, confirm fitment with your dealer before ordering.
What the Package Adds

First, the Off-Road Suspension Kit by FOX leads the parts list. Ford says the FOX suspension kit adds ground clearance, tunes damping control and improves articulation. However, neither Ford page gives a lift height or travel figure, so ask your dealer for numbers. For background on shock designs, see our guide to bypass, reservoir and monotube shocks.
Next, the package adds Bronco Raptor skid plates and a Raptor fuel-tank plate. Ford also includes rocker-panel trail armor. The trail armor goes on with automotive-grade high bond tape in a no-drill install. It uses molded black TPO plastic and fits four-door models. For me, the Raptor skid plates and fuel-tank plate stand out as the smartest items here, since they shield the parts a trail strike hits first.
Then, up front, Ford adds a modular front bumper with park aid, which it says meets OEM crash standards. RIGID 4-inch LED auxiliary lights come with an auxiliary switch kit. The kit includes a factory-style switch panel, wiring and all hardware. If you plan more accessories, read our Bronco aux switch amp limits guide first.
The package rides on black 17-inch by 8.5-inch WELD wheels with black lug nuts. Havoc fender flares, red tow hooks, red grille letter caps, a stealth hood decal and ORV badging finish the look. A ProCal tool also recalibrates your speedometer after upgrades outside the factory setup. Ford notes the matte film protection shown in its photos is not part of the standard package.
What This Means for You

With the parts list in hand, check your own Bronco first. Only Base, Big Bend and Outer Banks four-doors from 2025 and 2026 fit. Ford lists no other model years, so a 2027 Bronco is not on its fitment list. For what changes next year, see our 2027 Bronco colors and seats guide.
I have rented a Bronco Badlands more than once for Big Bear camping trips. This package answers a different question: how does a lower-trim owner add trail hardware without sourcing every part? However, Ford does not explain why Badlands and Raptor are excluded. Both trims already sit at the off-road end of the lineup.
Second, check the math. The $18,995 MSRP covers the package only. Your total adds a set of 315/70R17 tires, which Ford recommends, plus mounting and installation. By our math, this tire size stands about 34 inches tall. Ford does not publish an install cost, so get an installed quote in writing.
Tall tires like these pair naturally with airing down on the trail. Therefore, a deflator, a compressor and a gauge belong in your budget. For example, the grid below lists the ARB505 deflator kit from ARB, the VIAIR 400P compressor and the JACO ElitePro digital tire pressure gauge.

Bronco ORV Package vs. Desert Rising
Ford Custom Garage also sells the Bronco Desert Rising package, which we covered at launch. However, the two packages target different buyers. Desert Rising costs $13,695 on top of an Outer Banks build and is limited to 1,000 serialized units, per our launch coverage. It focuses on appearance and the interior, and Ford requires the Sasquatch Package with it.
The Bronco ORV Package costs $18,995 and adds suspension, protection and lighting. Ford calls it limited-edition but has not stated a unit count. Desert Rising fits Outer Banks only, while the ORV package also fits Base and Big Bend. Choose Desert Rising for the interior and a serialized collector badge. Pick the ORV package for trail hardware.
Final Thoughts
The Bronco ORV Package makes the most sense for an owner who likes a lower-trim Bronco and wants trail hardware without a parts project. Its biggest strengths are the FOX suspension kit, the Raptor skid plates and the Ford-backed warranty. Ford Racing Parts adds a supplemental three-year, 36,000-mile warranty. A dealer or ASE-certified install does not void your standard new-vehicle warranty.
The trade-offs are plain. You pay $18,995 before tires and installation, you need a 2025 or 2026 four-door, and Ford has not published lift or travel numbers. We have not driven an ORV-equipped Bronco, so weigh Ford’s claims accordingly. If you want factory off-road hardware from day one, look at the Badlands or Raptor instead.
Having rented a Badlands for Big Bear camping trips, I see why lower-trim owners want factory trail hardware. I am glad Ford built a path for them. Ask your dealer for fitment, lift height and an installed price. Then decide whether the full package earns its place on your Bronco.
