A friend of mine sprayed he's old petrol engine with some water to get the engine bay a bit cleaner and the truck is now miss-firing.

Any suggestions on what could be the issue?
 
it's probably just water in the ignition system. Drive it for a couple of days and everything should dry off and work fine again. I had it happen many times
