I'm cleaning out my truck this morning and came across a gas receipt I kept from our Death Valley trip where I paid $9.71 per gallon of gas during that time we were out there in 2022. Definitely the most I have ever paid for gas. Anyone have me beat?

We bought a diesel heater last winter and now realizing we just left it in the garage with fuel still in it. I thought I read that diesel fuel will last longer than gas, but it's been sitting for nearly 8 months. Will this need to be cleaned or something before attempting to start?
