I prefer sleeping inside the truck as it feels safer, is more insulated and I find it more comfortable in general. However, I am thinking of how I can make this work nicely in my Prado 90. Th plan is to put an airbed back there but I need some kind of platform to place it on. Any ideas?

use the correct sleeping bag and camp somewhere where you have protection from the wind. Avoid trees if it is windy as they might fall!

my car is a land cruiser prod 90 and I use a 3.5 tonne one. There is a slight issue with using a strap that is too strong because the elastic effect it has won't work on a lighter vehicle. In simple words the strap will be to stiff. You do have the piece of mind that it is far easier to brake...

So my land cruiser is a Japanese import and has the two batteries. Does anyone know what is the purpose of the second batteries (non starting one)? Can I actually run accessories of that without draining the starting batterie? I think that is the logic behind it but I am not entirely sure
