What's your experience with these spacers?

Other than weight savings, are there any other reasons why aluminum will be the better option for a bed rack? Steel will be considerably stronger, but you pay with the weight. But with aluminum you can have more support that can offset the weight. So... ?

I have a stone dead 12V lithium battery and while this hasn't happened many times before, I usually just slap my charger on it and let this thing do it's thing. Curious though, is that the right thing to do? Or when battery is dead, is there something that should be done with battery first?

When you don't have warm or hot water, which is what is needed to cut grease. How are you cleaning your pots and pans that are all greasy? When ever we head out, either we end up using half assed washed pots, or we avoid cooking on. I'm sure there must be an easier solution to this?
