I have a Goal Zero 1500x that weighs nearly 46lbs and it's just 1500 watts. This 4000 watt solid state power station from Yoshino weighs just under 54lbs! OK hard not to wonder what the heck is this solid state all about. Now from what I can see, you don't get as many cycles, but man, 4000 watts at 54lbs and about the same size of my 1500x?! Damn. Oh did I mention this thing they claim can charge in 70 minutes?

Please post what you know about these "solid state" power stations.

Lithium batteries are heavy. Some more so then others.
Charge rate is based what batteries and BMS they used.

The term solid state has become just a "sales buzz" word. In the 60's we got these cool portable "transistor radios. They were way smaller then vacuum tube equipment. Solid state meant transistor instead of vacuum tube.
