The Deadman V2?

I'm really curious about how well this works, they have a video on their site where a woman get's out of her truck in sand, deploys this Deadman thing, and winches herself out with it, only to go under trucks own power shortly after, then doing a bunch of donuts in the sand. Not the best way to sell this, however I want to say I've seen similar. I'm sure this works, just a poor way to demonstrate this. Curious how well something like this might work in snow?

Had to Google this to see what you were talking about. Not sure, never seen this. I have heard of climbers making snow anchors in the same manner, so I guess in theory it could work, but to what extent? Got me, truck buried in mud or snow is a bit different than a climber rappelling down a cliff.

Not sure about this, you would have to put so much weight into that thing to make a good anchor to pull a truck out. Not sold.

OMG that would only work if you have equal or greater weight in that sack. Simple physics for you there.
