Steel braided brake lines. Are they worth it?

Hey everyone, as the truck now has plenty of upgrades that have increased its weight and with the addition of a camper trailer I am thinking it is time to upgrade the brakes.

Other the the usual caliper and rotor upgrade I am thinking of going for braided brake lines.

My question is if anyone here has used them before and can let me know if it is worth doing them.

Thank you.

They make your brake pedal harder and yeas they do improve braking. They are also a bit tougher as they can withstand branches and rocks hitting on them.

The only issue is that you cannot squeeze them when removing your callipers so every time you do such a job you will lose your brake fluid. A small price to pay though.

I am not sure they are worth it mate. I personally never heard someone damage a brake line off road so I would make the big brake upgrades and leave the lines as they are
