Removing the anti sway bars?

I am looking at getting some more flex out of my truck and I was thinking of removing the anti sway bars. It has a two inch lift kit which is pretty stiff therefore body roll won't really be an issue.

Has anyone removed the sway bars before? Is the gain in flex worth the effort?

Thank you!

I have removed mine on a Land Rover Discovery 1 with a stiffer 2 inch lift and the truck still behaves fine on the road. I obviously never drive fas in it though as it was never meant to go fast.

I would remove them if I was you

Before removing them I would search for discnectable stabiliser links. These enable you to disconnect the sway bar when needed off road and reconnect it when back on the pavement
