FJ Cruiser coming back as electric?

I was talking with a buddy and he mentioned that there was rumors that the FJ Cruiser would be coming back as a electric SUV to kick off Toyotas EV truck market. Or SUV market rather. Have you heard any details confirming this?

Damn, that would be great. Always surprised they pulled the plug on that one.

They did leak a few images of what looked like an EV fj a few months ago but they have nit confirmed anything. Toyota is a bit conservative so I am not sure if this is going to happen
