Champion 2000-Watt Portable Inverter Generator to charge Jackery 1000?

I picked up this Champion 2000 Watt generator to charge my Jackery 1000, and when I plug it into my Jackery, the Jackery won't take the charge from the generator. I'm not understanding this. There is power going to the Jackery, however the Jackery simply won't take the charge??

This site had an article on one of those Alp generators that runs on propane, that's a 1000 watts as well. Perhaps a better fit?

Champion makes a good product, that should be a very good generator for you. Did you try plugging other items into the generator while its running to confirm the charge?
