If you plan on going offroad, how strong is the hold that this phone holder has? I want to see if it will hold my phone even when I go offroad and it's bouncing all over the place.

Ram Mounts

This is the basic mount. Quite a few companies make mounts for these to fit your vehicle. The XGrip also comes with a rubber holder that secures it to the mount.

To give you an idea how well they hold, I run one on my mountain bike. The bike is the only one that uses the extra rubber holder. Fortunately, I don't crash much but I do ride fairly hard.
The only down side is you need to put a drop of super glue in the feet once in a while. They tend to slip out every few years.
