Anyone overland with dogs? How do they do on bumpy dirt tracks?

Until now I have taken my dog out overland because I was thinking he wouldn't enjoy the bumpiness and long road hours. However, I feel like it's a shame as the dog would definatelly have fan out there.

Does anyone here overland with a dog? How do they faire in the car?

Every dog is different, some dogs are terrible in the car and other do not seem to mind. If you never had issues with him during previous rides in the car I don't think you will have on longer ones. If you are driving for many hours on dirt roads I t may be a good idea to stop for a quick brake every once in a while

I wouldn't enjoy it as much if I had a dog with me to be honest. A dog is something you will have to take into account when packing and stopping and since I like to fully relax on these trips I prefer going on my own or with experienced friends
