Any ideas of how to rust proof your vehicle at home?

I live in a wet and cold environment where rust is the biggest killer of vehicles. I would love to tread mine so it lasts a little longer. Are there any ways to do this at home?

Not a complicated job but dirty and time consuming if your vehicle is old and already bait rust. You have to get a drill with an attachment that will act like sand paper to remove rust. Then go the whole frame and axles with it removing all the existing rust and then you have to spray the whole thing with under seal. Do not spray over the rust and it will continue rusting underneath the paint

Plenty of experience with rust over in the uk. Use some kid of rust converter or sand down the surface and spray with underseal. Plenty of vids online
