What's your experience with these spacers?

Other than weight savings, are there any other reasons why aluminum will be the better option for a bed rack? Steel will be considerably stronger, but you pay with the weight. But with aluminum you can have more support that can offset the weight. So... ?

My charger is older one I got from Autozone. Now you have me thinking about something. When I get home will need to check it.

I have a stone dead 12V lithium battery and while this hasn't happened many times before, I usually just slap my charger on it and let this thing do it's thing. Curious though, is that the right thing to do? Or when battery is dead, is there something that should be done with battery first?

Pretty much the same, just small items incase of emergency. But for the most part, I just bring enough clothes with me. Now IF I were to be out for extended time, I would just wash at laundry machine in town when I went in to get groceries.

Great question, I would say middle of the road for me. Just learned as I go.
