Let's be honest, the brand new vehicle market isn't that impressive when it come to reliable 4x4s. I think my choice would be a brand new Land Cruiser Prado but again, those seem to have issues. My current Y62 patrol would be great but out uses to much fuel. What would your choice be?

Home Made Camper Trailer. Has anyone here done it before?

I have slep in the car a few time and have been perfectly comfortable. It is a new Nissan Patrol though so it has a lot of space

A wrap a big chain around the wheels so the trailer can't lock. I always leave it in areas I know very few people visit though

I would drive one when they manage to figure out how to make the batteries charge quickly. We also need a way to charge them on the trails. EVs still have a long way to go

These things are relatively capable due to their traction control systems. The issues he had with the starter kind of suck but it's a Range Rover these thin gs are expected

They are still pretty reliable mate just not as reliable os the older ones. My mate has a prado just like the one you are thinking of buying with 350k kms and it is still going strong. I wouldn't avoid the upgrade as the new engines are still very good.

I don't like the look of it as a paint. It works great as a bed liner but the texture doesn't work on the body in my opinion. Some trucks such as the XJ Cherokee do look good in it though

Yes of course, airing down always helps regardless of the truck. This is especially true in terrain such as snow where grip is minimal
