Yep, that's the key "depends on where you want to go". That and skill level and comfort. Having 4x4 is a nice peace of mind to have regardless of all of this.

Not in years, back in the day we did. But just don't have the time. If you shop around online there are deals to be found. Making your own ammo isn't a big savings either.
