Winter camping with a rooftop tent after fresh snow

If you are camping and exploring backcountry during snowfall. What do you do when it snows overnight? Are you waiting for the tent to dry? If you plan to drive around for 6-8 hours to the next camp spot, will you pack it away and then open up your tent to dry out at next spot?

I never worried about it till i got home. imagine 10 days of off and on hard rain. No big deal.
