Weboost old antenna swapped out with newer antenna?

I've been told the newer Weboost is much better. Is it just the antenna or A-Z with the module that needs to be swapped out to get the performance boost?

Pretty sure that won't work, the main computer of that thing would need to be swapped out in order for you to benefit from the newer version.
