Water tight seal for GMRS antenna on the roof?

I'm going to drill a hole and get my antenna mounted in better position this weekend. What can I use to get a durable long holding seal around the antenna that won't leak? Someone told me compression fittings some time ago, but I couldn't find what they must have been talking about. Nothing that looked like it would work at least. Can you help me out please?

Are you drilling for coax or antenna?
Antenna, you want a bulkhead mount. Most of them have rubber seals. Coax, your going to run a Gland Nut.
