Run a Traeger Tailgater grill on the 400w power outlet?

Traegers small portable Tailgater pellet grill, will this thing run on the 400w power outlet in the back of our Gladiators?

I believe the outlet is rated at 1200 watt. Anything under 900 watt should be fine. Just keep an eye on your battery if its running for several hours.

Have you seen those Hitch Grills? Those burn wood and are meant for tailgating.

Thanks guys. Man I'm getting answers all over the place. Few said 400, few said 1200. How can I test this thing?

See if there's a spec in your owners manual and look at the cover on it. One would think they would put a spec on the cover at least.

When I looked this up, most of what I saw said 1200 watt. That doesn't mean there's not two designs. "IF" its actually 400 watt, I would be hesitant to use it for anything over 300 watt. When they give a spec, its always the max number that can only be used for a short time.
