Recommended battery capacity storage level?

When your overlanding rig goes into storage and you want to maintain good battery health to ensure longevity of your batteries. I have a Renege system with 2 200AH Battle Born batteries. Right now the batteries are sitting at 71% and the garage temp is about 63F.

What is ideal temp garage should be kept at and at what point do you put charger onto batteries?

I would look up the battery specs with battle born or ask them. I'm pretty sure they have temperature cut offs built in to prevent problems. So, too cold, they don't charge. The experts say to store your lithium's between 50%-70%. I don't remember what the lowest temp was off hand.

As for me, I leave my smart charger plugged in all the time. I don't know if I'm losing life span. My battery is almost 4 years old and so far so good. It might also be because I have a good smart charger
