Propane fire pit used under awning with walls attached?

I'm sure you have seen those awnings that wrap around your car and have walls. These are not airtight, so would it be OK to have a propane fire grill going under one?

Yeah, those don't have large uncontrolled flames, and there is plenty of ventilation.
