Mountain house meal good for date?

We have some Mountain House meals that must be 5 years old that were just given to me, but there is no dates on these. Unless I'm missing something. Would you happen to know where they put the dates on these packages?

Have any of you ate a freeze dried meal anywhere near 30 years? I wonder how much the flavors would have changed over that time?

Best I did was about 5. Didn't notice any difference. I keep a couple of cases in reserve as last min trip food.

5 years is how long you let something go till you ate it? Was it one of these or a MRE or similar?
