MineLab Vanquish 540 metal detector?

Anyone know much about metal detectors? Looking for something to do when out camping and have been considering and researching for a little while. Looking at a Garrett, now this MineLab Vanquish. Do you know this metal detector? How easy or difficult is this to use?

Garrett or MineLab are the two big boys when it comes to metal detectors. Although I personally like the MineLab units slightly better because of the user interface experience.
