How would you install a rooftop tent on a pickup?

Most people use a rack that sits on top of the bed. This keep the tent down low which does not mess with the centre of gravity of the vehicle
 
There are racks made for pickups mate, The tent sits flush with your roof so your centre of gravity won't be compromised
