If your running hard core comp, then yes some guys do it. There's a fine line with how much you put in. ANY regular dirt road driving will suck badly due to the weight. Slow rock crawl only. I didn't catch how much water they put in that buggy in the video but, most start under half and see if they break stuff. I've heard of very few going more then 3/4. The guys I watched were running Formula Toy class. I know my buddies in the heavier rigs don't do water but they also go fairly fast with a bit of tire spin.
