Carbon fiber frame on a trailer?

Putting aside cost and just focusing on strength and weight. Could an Offroad trailers frame be made of carbon fiber?

Hmm. It is stronger and lighter then steel. Don't see why not. Its not like you could make overland trailers much more expensive then they are already.

But doesn't carbon fiber not have the hit strength as steel? Meaning if it gets hit with a rock or tree or something it could break?

Not as light as carbon fiber, but has the strength where you need it. And aluminum is a lot lighter than steel.

Either or is going to be pricey. Especially the carbon fiber, the cost for a frame built from that would be high, I would guess 3x of the steel.
