Can I convert WARN VR EVO 10 from steel cable to synthetic?

This came with a steel cable that is getting a bit rusty, would you happen to know if I can swap out this cable with a synthetic one? If so, can that be done while it's in my bumper or will I need to take the winch out of my bumper to install the new line?

You'll need to pull the cable out and then place a metal wedge into the unit to secure the synthetic line on the winch. How much space do you have to work with?

OK, so why move to the synthetic over the steel, it can't be because of the rust?
Weight, comes in diffrent colors, easier to handle, great tensile strength (if you buy the correct one), if it breaks less kinetic energy.
When I was maintaining 4wd trails, I preferred steel. The rocks trashed the synthetic cables too fast. Don't do that any more and I now run Master Pull Synthetic line.
