Best quality recovery equipment? What would you recommend?

The best recovery gear is different for travelling solo or doing wheeling trips with friends.

Personally I always try to be able to help myself, self-sufficent.

I did severall Overlanding trips in my full equipped 4x4 (transafrica, south america) but also trips by rentals in cuba, laos and thailand.

Over the years I did see that travelling lightweight let us travel further. Today my recovery gear is optimized:


No Winch anymore, no front bar. Lightweight but with capable gear. Probably my Article about "mods I wouldnt do again" is too from intererst, and can safe some bucks.
