At what lift do IFS truck need a diff drop kit?

I am going for a 3 inch lift on my new Nissan Frontier because I feel it needs that extra clearance because it comes pretty low to the ground from factory. Is 3 inches to high for the front CVs? Should I get a diff drop kit?

Anything more than 2 inches you will need a diff drop mate.

Yes, 2 inches is the limit. Anything above you run the risk of breaking CVs

I would install a Dif drop even at 2 inches of lift. it won't do any harm, only good. IFS trucks love to go through CV boots and CVs when lifted
