Advantages of diesel vs gas heaters?

I was reading an article here about diesel heaters and then looked up the company to see that they offer a gas version of their diesel heater. Is there an advantage of a gas heater over diesel?

I just picked up a diesel heater but haven't set it up yet. The guys I've talked to with them, love them. I haven't seen a gas one unless your referring to propane catalytic heaters.

Gas has a lower strike point, meaning it's more dangerous. Diesel fumes aren't as bad.
