    If you know where to camp no it isn't. I would suggest doing some good research before heading down there and find people online who have done it before. This will help you find the best camp spots possible!

    Not really, I just take it to my mechanic to go through everything and if something needs replacing then it gets replaced

    I am pretty sure the older ones can now be imported. They are over 25 years old and any car that is past that age can be imported due to the "25 year" rule

    Dusty months are approaching. What do you do about engine air filters?

    I use replaceable ones mate. When leaving camp in the morning if I was driving on very dusty trails I knock some of that dust out and out it back in.

    Have a look at the SMRT Soft shell, it isn't the cheapest one but certainly a good quality product.

    To run wheel spacers or not to run wheel spacers. Any opinions?

    The argument is that due to the new angles wheel bearing are being stressed. You steering might also become slightly more heavy but that is rare. I run them with no issues but if I was to do some very remote touring I wouldn't. However, checking them often should be enough for you to run them...
