Overlanding in Mexico. Is it as dangerous as people say?

Thinking of going on a trip down there during summertime but I am not sure if it is a good idea

If you know where to camp no it isn't. I would suggest doing some good research before heading down there and find people online who have done it before. This will help you find the best camp spots possible!

In some areas it can be dangerous yes. However, if you stick the the well known routes as mentioned above you should be fine
