Staying connected while on the road?

My job mostly involves working from home through the internet; therefore, I can be anywhere I want to be as long as I have connection. The most interesting thing for be here is to see how the hot V engine performs entrees of reliability. It is a smaller engine that make a lot of power which is unorthodox for Toyota. Let's hope it lasts like the old ones! I (impossible in my mind that 5.7 was bulletproof)

Has anyone connected hunting with overlanding?

I had this though of overlanding and hunting along the way. Eat what you get and be fully sustained through nature while on the road. Has anyone done this before? Obviously you will have some emergency supplies just in case but the whole idea sounds like fun!

Would you let someone borrow your overland rig?

No, I don't think so. Maybe some very close friends. It is full of stuff that you need to know how to use and the time and effort that has went into building it isn't something I would risk renting to someone who might not know how to use everything

What type of mattress do you use in your tent?

I am currently using an air mattress in my tent, it is the thicker style that looks like the mattress on your bed at home. I am finding it noisy when moving around in bed, not very comfortable, and in cold temps, it is useless at insulating. It was a cheap option that has got me started with...
