The Spark Infinite Firestarter is the Next Evolution in Fire-Making

If you read my articles on 4WDTalk with any consistency, you know that I’m constantly out on an adventure, be that a dad’s trip with our kids, a long weekend to test gear, or something in between.

And while my camping trips may have different purposes, they have one thing in common – there’s a fire at the heart of every campsite.

Now, I’ve tested many different firestarters over the years and have found quite a few that are easy to use and effective. But, I have to say that the Spark Infinite Firestarter takes the cake as the most useful, efficient, and effective fire-making device I’ve used so far.

That got me thinking…the Spark Infinite Firestarter is fire-making evolved. The question is, how’d they do it?

Let’s find out!

What is the Spark Infinite Firestarter?

The easiest way to describe the Spark Firestarter is that it’s an infinite fire-making device. It’s made of 304 stainless steel, so it can take the heat of the fire and be reused over and over and over again. Light it when you want a fire, let it burn and cool overnight, then the next morning, grab it out of the ashes, dust it off, and it’s ready to rock again.

As I’ll describe more in a moment, the Spark is a three-pronged device, which is not only easy to level but it also produces three sets of flames in different directions. The flames burn about six inches tall and last for around 12 minutes – plenty long to get your fire going whether you’re in your backyard or in the middle of the wilderness.

Features and Benefits of the Spark Firestarter

First and foremost, the Spark is incredibly easy to use. There’s no rubbing sticks together or using a farrow rod. It’s a simple process of adding your favorite flammable fluid, lighting it, and letting it do its thing.

Secondly, the Spark Firestarter gets your fire to the point of being smokeless much faster than typical firestarters. In fact, you’ll have a smokeless fire in about 70 percent less time. Not bad, right?!

Better still, this firestarter burns clean, maximizes flame contact with the wood, and also maximizes airflow. You can use it in most smokeless fire pits, too. On top of that, there’s no getting down on all fours and blowing into the fire, getting smoke in your eyes, and blowing hot embers all over the place. This truly is one of those “easy as pie” situations – which is exactly what you want when you’re camping and overlanding!

As if all that isn’t enough, Spark Fire LLC, the company behind this firestarter, is a certified 1% for the planet corporation. As such, the company will donate 1% of its revenue to approved environmental development nonprofits so we can all continue enjoying the great outdoors for generations to come.

As you can see above, the process of using this fire-making device is about as straightforward as it gets…

Simply add the Spark to your fire pit, add fuel like rubbing alcohol, and add wood on top of and around the unit. Lastly, use a long lighter or match to light the spark, and you’ll have a smokeless fire in no time.

Not only is this process easy and efficient, but it’s also clean. You don’t have to bring boxes of firestarter with you on your camping trip, nor do you have to scavenge the wilderness around camp for kindling. Instead, throw the Spark, some flammable liquid, and a lighter in your camping kit, and you’ll be ready for a fire at camp!

Uses for the Spark Firestarter

The Spark can be used anywhere you want a fire. Pop it in your backyard fire pit or chiminea for a quick Friday night fire sesh. Bring it with you on your camping adventures and use it to get a fire going in your campsite fire pit. Add it to a portable smokeless fire pit when you’re on the road and camping in a dispersed site, too.

Where to Get a Spark Infinite Firestarter

If you’re ready to level up your fire-making game, you can support the Spark Firestarter on Kickstarter. The early bird special is 50% off, so you can get your very own Spark for just $29. Assuming the Kickstarter campaign is funded, you’ll get your firestarter in October of this year.

Every once in a while, a product comes along that makes you think, “Well, gee, why didn’t I think of that?” The Spark Infinite Firestarter is certainly one of those products. If you’re all about making camp life (or backyard relaxing) all the easier and more convenient, this little guy should be high on your list of priorities!
