Would you drive an EV Jeep?

Let's start a discussion here. If Jeep kept all the ingredients that make a Jeep (solid axles, lockers etc) but simply replaced the engine with electric motors would you still drive it? And how different do you think the experience would be?

I fear that the instant torque will be an issue when it comes to throttle modulation off road

I would if as you said they keep everything that makes it a Jeep. The roof solid axles etc. If not, then I have zero interest in it

I would drive one when they manage to figure out how to make the batteries charge quickly. We also need a way to charge them on the trails. EVs still have a long way to go

Yes for sure. I'd prefer an EV Jeep rather than nothing at all! The way things are going I am not sure many companies will make proper off roaders when all cars on roads are electric
