Which is the best Diesel engine ever made? Let's see the contenders

I t would be fun to see which everyone think is the best Diesel engine ever put in a 4wd. There are endless choices out there and cooking one is virtually impossible. However, I think the OM617 take the win for me due to it's insane reliability, power (turbo model) and simplicity.
