Wet sand vs buffer?

When it comes to body care on my trucks, over the years this is a big old weak point for me. I'm going to see what I can do about learning more about taking care of my paint. For scratches what is best: wet sanding or buffer?

Well technically you do both. Wet sand first, then finish things up with buffer

+1 wet sand, then use buffer with some good polishing compound
