Webasto vs Planar diesel heaters?

Happy New Year peeps!

I've decided to pick up a diesel heater, and have read a few articles on this page that recommend a company called 'Planar'. I researched these further and noticed another heater brand come up often called "Webasto". I reached out to the admins of this site to see if they had an opinion of this company, and they stated they have heard of, but never tested. Have any of you tried a Webasto diesel heater, or heck one of their gas heaters?

Wouldn't gas be dangerous? I would rather stick with the diesel, besides I near certain diesel does better at higher altitudes.

Both are really good options. Never heard of a gas version of a diesel heater though.
