Storing propane tanks outdoors OK?

I was cleaning out my garage over the weekend and I have 2 spare 20lb propane tanks. Can these be left out in the sun without any troubles?

Hope so, I've been storing a couple on the side of my shed for years

One of mine sits on the front of my trailer and we have been over 100 degrees for a couple of months.

+1 mine sits outdoors and exposed nearly everyday. Never any issues.

All the time, mine like many others is stored on back end of my truck. Even at home with my BBQ, that 20lb tank is 100% in the elements. Never any issues.
