Remove road nose from a Jeep?

What did you do to cut down on road noise from your Jeep? Were you successful in cutting out tire noise?

They make this sound pads that you apply when you have all the carpet and seats removed. Once side is this rubber sticky surface and the other side has this thin metal to it. Time consuming, but works really well. Car audio shops also apply this stuff to their speakers they make.

Don't drive with the top off and mud tires?
Get a good set of noise cancelling ear buds.

Seriously, look up sound deadening a vehicle. Filter out the ones selling products and read the how to's. There's some great articles out there. You may be surprised at what you should do as apposed to what you think.
Thats on the list for me too. Later, all my carpet is being replaced and that's when I'm tackling it.
