Jeep Gladiator diesel motors are being discontinued?

WTH, the first decent motor they put into these trucks and now they are pulling it?!

A few rumors are floating around. One of them is longevity issues. I guess the motor is in one of the Dodge trucks and it's not doing well.
Jeep did say their gearing more toward electric vehicles. They never released an official statement at all other then two possible small gas engines with turbos.
Two of my buddies have them and their great.

Electric JT? I don't think their tech is anywhere close enough at this point.

Most likely because so many are having problems with the throttle management on these motors have been so problematic.
