How do you cook on a camp fire? Any equipment suggestions?

I just use a random fire pit I picked up from a store mate. Nothing too complicated

I just start the fire in a small pit from rocks on the ground mate

I have a cheap grill I toss on the top, or I have a tripod like stand that hangs a plate over the fire. Either of these depending on timing.

I also use a grill mate. Nothing too fancy

Get a decent quality grip to put on top mate. Something that will last a long time and you do not need anything else
