How do the JLs fair with off road use?

I am planning on buying a new JL for off roading and exploring. The main issue I have is that I will be using it pretty much every week on harsh terrain. As we all know new vehicles don't have the best reputation for reliability – especially the Jeeps.

Has anyone of you had any experience with this and can tell wether theirs has been reliable or not?

I love the way these things look so I am pretty tempted

They are still new vehicles so it's hard to tell. The suspension seems to be fine, most of the issues would come from the electronics or the engine specifically the diesel. From what I have seen they seem to be doing well.

He has a JT, no JL. But that guy has a seriously tricked out set up.
