DIY truck paint tips

My '92 Jeeps body has seen better days and as of today, I have access to a paint booth, guns and air compressor. I don't suppose I can get the 411 on how to paint a truck? I don't suppose there is a paint by numbers? Seriously though, any DIY tips you can fork over would be great. Thank you!!

Prep is everything. I wish I had access to a paint booth.
