Diamondback cover clamps are horrible need replacement

The 4 clamps that came with my Diamondback cover for my Gladiator are just horrible. The bed cover is incredible, with one flaw being the clamps keep coming lose or knocking sideways. There must be a better way to keep this thing locked down and secure.

Any thoughts?

Do you have that rail system for your bed? I want to say with that you have alternative means of being able to fasten things down like this sort of deck.

Sorry for delay, I've been traveling. I don't have the rail system, but just ordered it, going to see if the connections improve. Thank you.
