I have a couple of questions about this smokeless fire pit:

1. Can this be used when fire bans are going on seeing that the fire is contained?
2. Does this put off much heat?

My husband ordered a smokeless fire pit, I don't know the name of it, but it's a round stainless steel pit, that works really well. Much larger than the one you have linked too.

Nope, never seen one of those. Just went to YouTube and watched a review. Looks pretty cool, but the guy was saying by month number 2, it had a lot of rust on it.

I would check with your local fire ranger on that one. I'm leaning towards it would be OK because the fire is contained, but I could be wrong and it likely depends on if there is a complete fire ban or not. Again check with with your local fire department and where you are traveling to.

Not sure on this thing. I just watched a few videos and the reviews are very mixed. Doesn't seem like it does kick off that much heat and there is a rust issue.
