Alp generator keeps showing overload red light?

I bought one of those propane Alp generators after reading a review on it. It's a great generator, and super quiet which is a big plus. But this past weekend I was testing out running an electric heater with it and the overload light kept coming on. The heater only pulls 750W. As I understand this thing is good for 1000W total and 850W running watts. So not sure why I'm getting this error?
 
Have you checked our oil? I would also consider getting a Watt meter to verify how much that heater is actually pulling. If all else fails, reach out to the tech team at Alp, they will likely have the answer for you. Hope this helps!
 
Last year mine was doing that and it turned out to be the oil levels were low just a tad. Smaller machines like this are more likely to be sensitive to things like this to insure they keep working. And it does, this thing is a champ.
